The definition of the word testimony according to my computers dictionary is: evidence or proof provided by the existence or appearance of something.
While we can testify about all kinds of things God does for us even a lost person could do that. (The Bible says the rain falls on the just and unjust alike)
Our Christian testimony should actually be about the instant when we came into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord who then baptized us with the Holy Spirit.
In John 1:32-34(NIV) John the Baptist gave his testimony.
Then John gave this testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.' I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God."
